Our Story
Having lived Pembrokeshire, Wales all my life I wanted to make a range of jewellery inspired by its stunning coastal landscape, and using as much reclaimed material as I could to create a sustainable and eco-friendly business. So in 2017 I created Pembrokeshire Beach Tree using my beachcombed finds to create one-off jewellery and gifts. When my husband started carving, I added beautiful the hand-carved, locally sourced wooden spoons and keyrings to the expanding range of sustainable creations.
As well as jewellery, there is a range of handmade gifts using Pembrokeshire sea glass & sea pottery, including keyrings, buttons, suncatchers and mobiles. One of my favourite makes are my hand-knitted recycled cotton Octopus. As I love to sew I also make a range of handmade felt keyrings, mostly sea themed including puffins, manta ray, turtles, dolphins, whales, seagulls, as well as squirrels, foxes, owls and gnomes. I keep getting inspired to make new designs, with seahorses next on my list.

All of the sea glass and sea pottery is collected from local beaches, and I’ve spent many, many hours out hunting for beach-combed treasure.
Both sea glass and sea pottery are the sea polished remains of old broken bottles, pots, plates, mugs etc. that were discarded many years ago. They vary in age, style and texture. Some of the sea pottery can be dated to over 200 years old, some as recent as the 1990s! I also find much large sections of old bottles, most of which can be at least 100 years old. As well as glass and pottery, there are also things like old clay pipes, buttons, forks to be found…you never know what the beach will reveal.
